Agnes Précourt (née Dufrèsne)
August 1, 1927-August 19, 2015
After a brief illness, God took Agnès Précourt into His loving arms. She will be lovingly remembered by her nine surviving children, 25 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and one brother.
She is predeceased by her husband, Léon, in 1991, her daughter, Lorraine, in 1953, and 6 of her siblings.
Agnès grew up in Lorette, Manitoba and then moved with her family to St. François-Xavier in her teen years. She and Léon married in 1947 and remained in St. François-Xavier where they raised their family and farmed for many years.
Thank you to the dedicated staff on 3 North at Grace Hospital for their compassionate care and kindness.
If people wish, donations in Agnès’ memory may be made to the Roman Catholic Parish of St. François-Xavier Cemetery Fund.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 25 at 11:00 a.m. at St. François-Xavier church. Prayers and viewing will precede the service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
