It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Bert Chudrick at St. Boniface Hospital on Friday December 23, 2016 at age of 82 years.

Bert will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his two surviving children Nathaniel Pamela Rose Chudrick and Brett Anders Chudrick; brothers Maurice and Gerald (Cheryl); sister Sharon (Stan); grandchildren Nicole and Stephen; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Rose (nee Delorme) and his eldest son Rick Rondeau.

Bert made many friends throughout his life that were important to him. Bert worked many years as a salesman, for Old Dutch Foods, Makita Power Tools, and Jet Equipment. Most of his adult working life was spent living in British Columbia, and only in his retirement years did he return to Winnipeg to be close to his roots and family. Bert was an avid golfer and it was only natural that in his retirement years he work casually at Caddy Shed Golf Store.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Health Science Centre and St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent care and compassion given Bert.

Bert’s Funeral Service will be held at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street, Winnipeg, on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will take place from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service for those who wish to pay their respects in this way. A private farewell of Bert’s cremated remains will take place at a later date.

If one so desires, donations in Bert's honour may be made to a charity of your choice.
