<div itemprop="description">Beverley Anne Violet Joyce <br> Dec. 16, 1942 - March 10, 2017 <br> <br>It is with sorrow in our hearts, but joy for her soul, that we announce the sudden passing of our sister, aunt and friend Beverley on the evening of March 10, after a difficult illness. <br> <br>A testament to Beverley’s grace and her caring nature were the many friends, family and colleagues who came to her bedside to visit. <br> <br>Beverley graduated from high school in Flin Flon, Man. and then began her training as a registered nurse at St. Boniface General Hospital. <br> <br>She worked in various departments, including as head nurse for heart surgery, and in the mental health field at McEwen House after completing a master’s degree. <br> <br>She and Alvin Gervais, the love of her life, were married on July 10, 1993 — the perfect union of two special souls. <br> <br>Beverley will be forever loved and missed by her sister, Claudia Schmidt, and her nephews Christopher, Eric, Jonathon (Mary Agnes) and David Schmidt; by her step-mother, Ruby Joyce; and by Alvin’s siblings Pearl, Eva (Ray), Alma (Léo), Armande (Doyle), Allan (Mary) and Christine (Kathy); and by the many loving and caring Gervais nieces and nephews. <br> <br>Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 17 at the St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, 3 St. Vital Road. An interment will be held at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens at a later date. <br> <br>For those who wish, donations may be made in Beverley`s name to a charity of one`s choice. <br> <br>“May the wind be always at your back.” <br> <br></div>
