She lived there until the age of 18 and then left to live in St. Boniface, MB. She worked in the laundry department of the St. Boniface Hospital for several years. During that time she met the love of her life, Alexis, and they were married June 2, 1951. Mom and Dad lived in St. Boniface where their six children were born. They moved to St. Vital for ten years and then moved to Grande Pointe where they really enjoyed the country life. When Dad passed away, after 38 years of marriage, Mom moved back to Winnipeg.

Mom was really devoted to her family and was the most loving parent and grandmother. She was very committed to her faith in Christ and to her church.

Mom was a very kind and generous woman to anyone she met. We will all miss her warm, welcoming smile.

A special thanks to the first floor staff at Actionmarguerite-St. Vital for their care and compassion.

Due to allergies, the family ask to refrain from wearing colognes or perfumes.

Prayers will be held at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street, on Friday, October 3, at 7:00 p.m. with viewing at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 778 Archibald Street, on Saturday, October 4 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing and eulogies starting at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Joachim Parish Cemetery, La Broquerie, MB.
