MARCEL JOSEPH LAVALLEE 1929-2016
Peacefully on April 25/16, Marcel Joseph Lavallee passed away. Born in St. Joseph MB,
Marcel was predeceased by his wife Yvonne (1993), parents Clementine and John, sister Angele Dheilly, nephew Marcel and friend Irene Charbonneau.
Survived by his sister Rollande Lavallee (SGM) brother-in-laws Raymond Dheilly, Rene and Leo Normandin, sister-in-law Doris Turcotte, several nieces and nephews and his dear niece May.
The Family moved to St. Boniface in 1944, where he met his sweetheart Yvonne and were married in 1947. Marcel was a painter by trade which he loved passionately. Once retired Marcel enjoyed tinkering and repairing things in his garage.
Marcel enjoyed family gatherings; playing the spoons, joking and teasing the nieces and nephews was a highlight for him.
Later in life he met Irene where they enjoyed several years of companionship.
Special thanks to Dr. Li, The Nurses and Staff on 5B at St. B Hospital who kept him comfortable during his last few days.
