<div itemprop="description">Mark was peacefully called home to join the Lord on November 22, 2015. <br /> <br />Mark was born, raised, schooled, worked, married and started a family in the Philippines. He moved the family to Canada where he continued his work as a mechanic to his retirement. <br /> <br />Mark loved his family, friends, fishing, wearing any clothing in brown. He was a perpetual optimist with his phrase, &quot;We're not getting older, just less younger.&quot; <br /> <br />Mark's legacy continues with his wife Pat, children Marcel (Marjorie), Jessie (Melissa), Jerry (Marie-Anne), grandchildren Matthew, Michael, Mark, Julian, Cassandra, Cole and many in-laws, nephews and nieces too numerous to list but not forgotten. <br /> <br />Lamay will be held on Sunday, November 29 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. <br /> <br />Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Highway, with interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens &amp; Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Boulevard. <br /> <br />Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6, may be made in his memory.</div>
