<div itemprop="description">Margaret Marcella Pilon (nee Cardinal)<br /><br />October 21, 1921- December 31, 2015<br /><br /><br /><br />Unexpectantly, on December 31st, 2015, surrounded by the love of her family, Margaret Pilon passed away at the age of 94 years.<br /><br /><br /><br />Margaret was predeceased by her soulmate and husband Joseph in October, 1994. Mom and Dad had been married for 57 years.<br /><br /><br /><br />Margaret leaves to mourn her devoted daughter Joan, her foster daughter Debra Durie, her treasured nephew Kenneth, who she considered to be her son, his wife Marie, her grandchildren Rachelle (Blair), Renee (Darren) and Kenneth Jr. (Jamie), her great-grandchildren Brenna (Louie) Braeden, Shea, Zachary, Rhys, Kyan, Luke, Cole and Ty. She also leaves her sisters Jane and Yvonne and her brother George as well as many extended family including nieces and nephews and special friends Harry and Lois. Margaret was the eldest daughter of Marcien and Marguerite Cardinal. Margaret was predeceased by brothers, Bill, Moe, Len and Alan and sisters, Virginia and Irene.<br /><br /><br /><br />Margaret worked at various occupations outside the home, but her biggest accomplishment was excelling at being a wife and mother.<br /><br />Mom was the cornerstone of the family, loved and respected by her entire family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a true gentle lady in every sense of the word and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.<br /><br /><br /><br />The family would to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Victoria General hospital for the care given and concern shown towards Mom.<br /><br /><br /><br />A Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, January 8th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, located at 556 St. Anne&rsquo;s Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba.<br /><br /><br /><br />Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Fedrouk, Kenneth Jr. Grouette, Braeden Tucker, Zachary Grouette, Rhys Raeside and Curt Rodstrom.<br /><br /><br /><br />In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.<br /><br /><br /><br /></div>
