Mom was born August 6, 1925.

She was predeceased by her husband Camille, her parent Margaret (Giesbrecht) and Henry S. Dyck, brother, George and sister Ann.

She will be dearly missed by her 6 children Diane (Lloyd), Sharon (Kaj), Kathleen (Brian), Jean-Paul, Tony (Jackie), and Tim (Malveen); grandchildren Rod, Tammy, Kristoffer (Jen), Shawna-Lynne, Riley (Alia), Travis (Jen), Eric and Lauren; great-grandchildren Madelyn, Chloe and Kenna, Hope and Nathan, Avery, and Carson.

Mom also leaves to mourn her brothers, Henry (Kathy), Ernie (Tina), and sister-in-law Alice, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom and Dad married on July 17, 1948, and were married for 62 years until Dad’s passing.

Mom was always a stay-at-home-mom, looking after her children. She loved cooking and baking, in her free time she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and sewing. In summer, her flower gardens were gorgeous and a few of her children are lucky enough to have that talent.

She always welcomed visits from family and friends, especially from her grandchildren, with whom she would often play a game of cards.

Mom enjoyed watching wrestling, baseball, and hockey, whether live or on TV. She enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially if her children or grandchildren were involved.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to all the staff of 5E at St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent care given to Mom.

Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6
