<div itemprop="description">It is with sadness that we announce Mum’s peaceful passing in her home at Foyer Vincent. <br> <br>She was predeceased by her husband Raoul. Mum will be lovingly remembered by her children Roger (Deborah), Paul (Darlene), Paulette Wilson, Lise, and Renald (Ron); her grandchildren Candace (Jason) Cherwayko, Daniel (Tracey) Desaulniers, Christopher Wilson (Anna Ribero), Dustyn (Angelina) Desaulniers; her great-grandchildren Willow Doerr Wilson, Olivia and Lincoln Cherwayko, Sierra, Luke, and Haylee Desaulniers, and little Sofiia Desaulniers. She will also be remembered by her surviving sisters-in law Alice, Anne and Blanche Deschênes, and numerous nieces and nephews. Marie was also predeceased by her parents Ulysses and Anna as well as her brothers and sisters Lucienne Boily, Alphonse, Joseph, Maurice, Leo, Laurette Painchaud, Elizabeth Chenier, Paul, David, and Emile. <br> <br>Marie (Mum, Mary, Mémère, G-Mémère, Money Bags) will be remembered for playing cards and bingo, but most of all for going to play the VLTs (Larry the Lobster). She will also be remembered for her loyal service at Great West Life Insurance, Winnipeg; the Gateway Restaurant, Beausejour; and her many years volunteering in the kitchen at Foyer Vincent. <br> <br>Mum and Dad had moved back to Winnipeg in March of 2004. When Dad passed, Mum moved to her latest residence at Foyer Vincent and enjoyed playing bingo and cards in the evening in the common room. <br> <br>Many thanks to Dr. Darcewski and her staff, Dr. Addurri, heart specialist Dr. Sinha, the home care workers, and Youville Diabetes Clinic. Also, a special thank you goes to the office staff, caretakers, and all members residing at Foyer Vincent. Mum’s wishes were that donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 1 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6. <br> <br>Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Anne’s Road. Interment of her cremated remains will take place at a later date. <br> <br></div>
